Enterprise Sales Business Development Manager

You will play a critical role in driving our ambition growth plans by identifying and securing new enterprise-level customers.

Purpose:

As an Enterprise Sales you will play a critical role in driving our ambition growth plans by identifying and securing new enterprise-level customers. You will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers and C-Suite, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions to help them achieve their objectives.

Objective:

Drive Subly’s revenue growth and meet and exceed our ambitious KPIs.

Subly helps organisations, large enterprises and government bodies ensure all media, including meeting recordings, learning content, marketing ads and events are fully accessible, inclusive and compliant with legislation.  We provide subtitles, captions, transcriptions and audio descriptions in over 130 languages, as well as colour contrast adjustments and content warnings.  We offer fast turnaround times and the platform requires no training or installation, making adoption quick and easy for anyone in a business.  


Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and target prospective enterprise-level clients within our target market.
  • Utilise various channels, such as cold calling, email outreach, networking, and referrals, to generate and close high-quality leads.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives and other key decision-makers.
  • Understand the unique challenges and objectives of each client and present tailored solutions to address their needs.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition and benefits of Subly’s products and services.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
  • Ensure you’re a frequent user of the product and new releases to ensure success demos of the product and services.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to contract closure.
  • Keep accurate records of interactions and deals in our CRM system.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and market dynamics.
  • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to enhance our offerings.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and customer-focused approach.

 

Key activities and behaviours:

  • Identify bottlenecks in the sales process and work on solutions to shorten the sales cycle.
  • Analyse data and use findings to make informed decisions. This can include market research, sales data, and financial information.
  • Work with the COO to ensure sales KPIs are met and exceeded.
  • Delivers accurate and timely reports (internally and externally when required)
  • Increase average contract value

 

Key skills:

  • Proven track record in enterprise-level sales, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent understanding of the SaaS industry. 
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Legal and Contractual knowledge.
  • Adaptability and creative problem solving skills.
  • Ability to think on your feet and overcome objections.
